A unique villa in the heart of the wild Maremma region, this is a big stone farmhouse in Tuscan style, with an emphasis on comfort, an air of conviviality, and bags of space indoors and out. Set amid thirty hectares of vineyards and olive groves, its landscaped gardens encompass rolling lawns and great swathes of lavender, a wisteria-draped dining pergola, and a natural amphitheatre of stepped rocks, facing fantastic panoramas. But the real wow factor is the stunning infinity pool, solar heated, stretching a full 22m long, and complete with Jacuzzi, wading pool, and a covered poolside terrace with barbecue, fridge, and beautiful bucolic views. Modern amenities within the house include WiFi, a steam bath, and a hi-tech kitchen with sleek steel fittings. But the house is brimming with country character, its bedrooms and suites complemented by a loft for two extra guests, accessed by a rustic step ladder from the breakfast room; its brick floored living room focused on a big open fireplace; and its colour-washed sitting room furnished with a piano. Cook service can be added here, and the villa is just 4km from the medieval hamlet of Tatti, and a thirty minute drive from coastal resorts.
Important information
Arrival at this villa is between 4 and 8 pm.
After 8 pm a fee of Euro 50 is payable and after 10 pm the fee is Euro 100.
Any late arrival after 8pm is on request and needs to be agreed in advance.
Please kindly note that after midnight – if an arrival is possible - the extra cost is Euro 100 per hour.
Please note that pool heating will usually bring the water temperature up to approximately 10 degrees higher than the night time temperature. As such in early or late season if the nights time temperatures are low, guests may still find the pool feels cold despite heating.
Please note, smoking is not permitted inside the house at any time.
