This pretty, informal and intimate little villa is beautifully positioned in Mount Pleasant, an area named for the gentle breezes which are almost constant here. Designed and furnished in a delightful blend of rustic chic and contemporary comfort, Infinity makes the most of its spectacular ocean views with huge corner windows and well positioned terraces. High ceilings, stone floors and the open nature of the house combine to cool the villa. In the airy, open-plan living/dining room, cushioned rattan chairs and sofas are set around seriously solid timber tables, adding distinctive character. Muslin-draped four poster beds do the same for the bedrooms, each with its own sea-view terrace.

And outside a small but perfectly positioned infinity pool is set in a stone terrace, with ample lounging and dining space, and blissful views of boats afloat in the bay below. Cook service can be pre-booked to enhance the villa’s stressless ambience, and white sand beaches are just a ten minute drive from Infinity, as are the shops and restaurants of Port Elizabeth.
