About the villa

This traditional cave house has been renovated to the highest standards and provides the perfect luxury getaway for two. Modern comforts combine with all the charm and legacy of a heritage property whose story stretches back into history. The property is completely independent and self-contained, however if you should require it the concierge service is just a telephone call away. The property includes a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable and contemporary living and dining area, a built in king-size bed and shower room with rain shower. White stone and minimalist design features throughout, for a light and tranquil atmosphere.

Outside, accessed from the living area, there is a spacious private terrace which overlooks the ‘caldera’ volcano basin. Equipped with its own heatable private plunge pool with whirlpool feature, the terrace is the jewel in the crown of this unique property and will make any stay on Santorini extra special. Santorini’s sunsets are renowned for their beauty, and the terrace lounge area is the perfect place to experience these with a glass of local wine. If you can bear to leave your retreat, then the sights, shops and restaurants of Oia are only a short walk away.

Important information

Santorini airport and the new port of Santorini (Athinios) are 24km away from Oia and, depending on traffic, can take around 20 to 30 minutes to reach the village. Taxis are approximately €45 for private transfer. The Post Office of Oia is the closest landmark point. Car hire is also available on the island. Parking is available some minutes away on foot and no private parking is available. Due to steps, this property is not suitable for those with limited mobility. Light luggage is essential.

Please note that pool heating will usually bring the water temperature up to approximately 10 degrees higher than the night time temperature. As such in early or late season if the nights time temperatures are low, guests may still find the pool feels cold despite heating.
