Day 1 / BUENOS AIRES
Buenos Aires is the capital of Argentina and one of the most interesting metropolises in Latin America. It’s a dynamic and cosmopolitan city with a great cultural and architectural heritage. It’s known worldwide for Tango and football, but also for its cafés, bookstores and theaters.

Half Day City tour Southern Districts (4 hours)
During this tour we will discover the highlights of the southern districts of Buenos Aires.
We will start at May Square, where the Government House, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the old Town Hall are located. Then we will continue to La Boca, famous for its colorful and picturesque houses on Caminito Street. Finally, we will explore San Telmo, one of the most ancient neighborhoods in town. There we will walk around its cobblestone streets, visit the traditional market, antiques and design stores.
Day 2 / BUENOS AIRES
Half Day City tour Northern Districts (4 hours)
During this tour we will discover the highlights of the northern districts of Buenos Aires. The city is known as the “Paris of South America” and we will easily identify why by looking at the architecture of this part of town.
We will visit Retiro, Recoleta and Palermo. These neighborhoods have beautiful parks, elegant avenues, residential areas with mansions and embassies and top-class designer shops and restaurants. In Recoleta we will visit the monumental cemetery where Evita Perón and other historical personalities are buried.

Michelangelo is one of the most emblematic tanguerías in town. Located in a historic building from 1850 in San Telmo, it was first opened to the public in 1967. It has marked the cultural and nightlife of Buenos Aires for over 50 years. It was recently remodeled and reopened to offer an unforgettable tango and folklore show every night.

El Calafate is a small village located on the south shore of Lake Argentino. The name comes from a local bush and there’s a legend that says that if you try its fruit, you will come back and visit again. The village is well known as the gate to Los Glaciares National Park and the famous Perito Moreno glacier.

Day 5 / EL CALAFATE
Full Day Glaciar Sur Pioneers (9 hours) Shared Service Lunch & National Park entrance fee & Transfer seat in coach included.
This is a great tour to explore Los Glaciares National Park and also learn about the pioneers in Patagonia. First, we will visit Nibepo Aike, one of the first estancias in Calafate. There we will see a sheep shearing demonstration and how gauchos work, followed by an exquisite Patagonian lamb BBQ for lunch.
Then we will navigate the Rico Branch of the Argentino Lake and disembark at Las Monedas beach, where we will take a soft hike in the forest until we reach an exclusive viewpoint with breathtaking views. We will embark again and navigate towards the south front of Perito Moreno glacier. Lastly, we will disembark and have time to walk on the catwalks to admire the majestic glacier from every angle.

Day 6 / EL CALAFATE

Transfer El Calafate – El Chalten (about 3h 30 min drive)
El Chaltén is a small town surrounded by the National Park Los Glaciares and the ever-present Mounts Fitz Roy and Torre. It is known as Argentina’s Trekking Capital. The stunning natural scenery offers multiple options for trekking, climbing and going on excursions and expeditions.

House Museum Madsen – Shared service English speaking guide & Tea service (transfers not included as only about 20 min walk from Hotel)
We will visit the house of Andreas Madsen, a Danish explorer who arrived in 1901 and built the first house in the area. We will learn about his history, all the challenges that he and his family had to face when they settled down and what daily life was like more than a century ago.
We will have access to the whole house and in dining room we’ll enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with sweet pastries.
Meanwhile, the guide will share more anecdotes and tales of the family that happened right in that same very place.
Day 8 / EL CHALTEN
Full Day trekking tour in El Chalten: selection of either:
Full Day Torre & Cerro Torre (8 hours)
One of the classic and can’t be missed walks of El Chaltén, to Laguna Torre where we find an impressive view of the Torre massif, the Adela range, Mount Solo and their respective glaciers. The footpath will take us through a wide range of landscapes, ranging from wide glacially formed valleys to dense forests. We stop at great panoramic spots and visit famous base camps that are used by famous climbers.

The classic, spectacular and unforgettable trek of the region. This is the trek to do if you only have one day in El Chaltén. A trek that takes you past some impressive scenery and through forests until you arrive at the mystical Mount Fitz Roy; admiring lagoons of different shades of blue, imposing glaciers and campgrounds visited by famous international climbers.
